Our Message
Chapel House is a tastefully refurbished early 19th century chapel. It has been created as an extension of our home for guests to take time out from their busy lives to relax and be replenished. Before we moved into Chapel House in 2014, we had to spend 4 months living with some special friends nearby. It was not what we expected to happen, but it was valuable preparation for the work God has for us here. During that period we were encouraged to take time out to REST from the busyness of our lives, WAIT patiently until the necessary legal and financial steps had been taken to enable the purchase to take place, and RECEIVE the hospitality, kindness and provision that we were being offered. Those 4 months equipped and prepared us for the purpose of Chapel House because until we had learned ourselves how to rest, wait and receive, we would not have the integrity or credibility to help others do the same.
